When something fails, we should know about it.

Wondering if we should just start super low tech with email notifications, e.g. via https://smartinez87.github.io/exception_notification/

Later, when we have a real website and all that, we could e.g. apply for an open-source account at Sentry (which itself is opensource, but a bit of a PITA to self-host at first glance):
