Code is contained in the normal zerotier distributions (i.e. with every client):

https://github.com/zerotier/ZeroTierOne/tree/master/controller

We're already past the free limit (at least on my account) with the Kosmos VMs it seems. They sent me an email to upgrade the account before January, but I think it makes much more sense to run our own controller in the first place.

Doesn't need much in terms of resources (they say you can run it on a $5 DO instance), and then we're not dependent on their service, as well as have full control over our own infra.

To do

  • Set up network controller
  • Move all clients to new network
