  • Use proxy protocol (enabled on HAproxy as well, so we get original IP addresses for sessions instead of the LB's address)
  • Only allow local accounts to register nicknames in local MUC rooms (prevents nickname squatting from people we don't know)
  • Remove obsolete folder permissions from early days

Tested/running in on all nodes in production.
