There's an XMPP Sprint happening in Berlin soon, from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29:
https://wiki.xmpp.org/web/Sprints/2020_March_Berlin
Everyone is basically just implementing/improving whatever XMPP-related thing they want to hack on.
I think it would be a great opportunity to introduce ourselves to the XMPP developer community, and also to get feedback and help for our own XMPP features and roadmap.
Incidentally, a friend of mine wanted to rent out his pad just from March 25 to mid April, so I'll have cheap accommodations that I can share with others as well.
We could also add another day or two of Kosmos-specific planning and hacking, especially for the things that aren't related to XMPP, of course.
What do you guys think? And who would be able to participate around that time?
Cool! I'm in for both XMPP and Kosmos
I should have time then.

Looks like we're still missing Haythem on Gitea...
I added it to my calendar just in case, but right now it looks like I'll have a few obligations here in Prague on that week. If things end up being moveable, I will try to clear time to at least make it for the weekend.
it seems it is very likely that I am not in EU end of March. so I sadly have to skip.
There's already talk from participants of the XMPP event cancelling their travels due to COVID19 concerns. I'm honestly also not sure myself if it's a good idea to travel to airports and train stations in a place like Berlin at that time, considering the development in recent weeks and days.
Seeing as some of us already don't have time, how about we eye something in June on Sicily (Hacker House) for the first 2019 hack days? Sambuca should be pretty safe, and there are cheap non-stop flights from many places during the summer season.
Just booked a flight back from South America to Europe, in time to make it to the XMPP sprint.
I would still propose to have proper hack days with as many people as possible sometime in summer. The Sambuca house won't run away. In fact, the later in the year, the better it will be. :)
