Running nicely on bitcoin-2 now. Also includes an unrelated change to the c-lightning recipe to stop the daemon before compilation. See commit messages.

potential issues with not doing that.
Fixes various issues, like compilation not starting on subsequent
version updates, service not restarting after compilation, and a TODO
note on the compilation script itself.
