I have moved all block files to a CIFS share on a storage box, and the rest of the bitcoind datadir has moved from the host share to the VM's own disk/storage.

In order to fit the block index files into the VM, I resized its disk to 100GB and expanded the encrypted volume.

This is the vast majority of disk space used on the host currently.
